Oh happy day! My swine flu blog is my second blog to achieve the fame of having two comments. What a momentous day! :)
\nI’d like to thank the Academy and my supportive family.
\nspeaking of them, today I was thinking it would be fun to tell you all a little about the people that must share my world.
\n<\/br>TH (the husband):
\nif you’re new to my blog, you may not understand why I call him this…but a lot of knitting bloggers seem to call their husbands DH for dear husband and I’m just not that warm and fuzzy, so I’ve decided I like TH. :)
\nyou probably have got an idea of him in your head from your religious blog following, so I probably don’t need to say too much here.
\nI get to see a side of him that not many ppl do and it’s a blast. :)
\nhe’s totally a genius (and not just cause he was smart enough to marry me). :)
\n<\/br>Syd (Sydney):
\nher hobbies are jogging, chasing deer, running through the mud and tall grass, eating, staring at me and trying to make me read her mind….oh, and her fav. pastime is laying her head in my lap while I blog. :)…..seriously, she’s doing it right now. :)
\n<\/br>my mom:
\nmy mom is the sweetest and she’s very handy in a hair emergency (think cosmetology). She is learning to be a fan of inside pets thanks to Syd (and 6 mos. of training) :).. my mom has a great smile……and she is my favorite partner for 42.
\n<\/br>my dad:
\nmy dad is truly unique. he is an accounting whiz, a GREAT storyteller, can sew, bake, grow all kinds of plants, and likes to shop…he’s the best.
\n<\/br>my brother:
\nmy “little” brother has grown up to be a lot taller than me. he got married last year and I’m still in shock that he’s an adult. he still acts like a kid a lot of the time. I’m very proud that my obnoxious cute pest of a brother has grown up and found a job that not only suits him, but helps everyone else too… he’s a firefighter.
\n<\/br>my sister:
\nshe lives out of state, and has 3 great kids.
\n<\/br>I include more ppl than this when I think of my family, but I think that is enough for today. I hope everyone has a great Friday! and to those out there that faithfully comment on the blog (and you know who you are), my sincerest and deepest thanks! :)<\/br>
