Katherine the Great
I like to think of myself as a storyteller. Mostly I tell stories about knitting.

I’m kind of cheating because this isn’t my finished object, but it is super cool and Turtle said I could blog it, so here we go.
She used this tutorial for a double-pointed needle holder to make me my very own one of a kind…….Knitzi Holder

Knitzi Holder!
Knitzi Holder2
I’m super excited because my Knitzis are really pretty wooden handmade sock in progress holders that The Husband has given me and I hate to think of them getting dusty on my hobby room shelves in between socks.
Didn’t she do a fantastic job?!? I love it! Thank you, Turtle!!!

Ps. Check out what others have finished at Tami’s Amis and Wisdom begins in Wonder and Natural Suburbia

Yay new tools! Or, in this case, tool holder, but kind of the same thing, right? It’s very pretty, and it looks like it will function well!

Lovely holder, the fabric looks gorgeous.

    Have a great weekend.

How clever! Why shouldn’t everything be beautiful and functional like that!

HOLY MOLEY! I had no idea Knitzi’s existed. I have some cardboard tubes from Knitpicks, but these trample all over those. So pretty!

I think I first discovered them via the Yarn Harlot’s Christmas shopping list. They seem to be the one knitting tool that The Husband likes enough that he buys them for me as gifts (as opposed to me ordering and telling him after the fact what he’s purchased :) )….and they are beautiful.
