I am making great progress on my Irish paranormal romance.

So, I rewarded myself with a little peek at what I had brainstormed for the epilogue. Imagine my surprise when my ideas included “roll play”. LOLOL

And now I can’t stop thinking about writing a romance short about a roll shifter!

The paperback for ‘Till All the Seas Run Dry comes out Tuesday so here is my favorite quote to remind you Eliza MacArthur is doing a pre-sale giveaway and I loved this book!

Robbie has “Hold Fast” tattooed on his knuckles and he’s talking to Callum about how sailors tattooed their knuckles to help them hold on to the ship during storms and whatnot and Callum says
“How fortunate that wasnae a practice when I was at sea. Had I held onto the ship I would have been killed or gone down with it and drowned. Sometimes ‘tis better to jump. The trick is to know the difference”

This quote resonated with me on a bone deep level. We struggled through miscarriages and infertility for years and found a way to stay curious about how far we should go to try to have a baby when I was emotionally and physically exhausted while the world screamed “Never give up!”.

“Sometimes ‘tis better to jump. The trick is to know the difference” YES!!! Here’s to being open to changing our minds! I might need this on a t-shirt! Thank you, @elizamacarthurwrites !!!

I’ve just had the moment when you realize your plot outline is 10,916 words and you’d only been planning for the whole book to be 60,000 words!

I try to tell my stories with as few words as possible so I guess we’ll see! We want the pace so fast no one has to feel their feelings! LOL

4. Watched Winter’s Tale…it was kind of sad. A bit of a buzzkill.
