I like to think of myself as a storyteller. Mostly I tell stories about knitting.

Hill Country Weaver’s collected yarn last week for a Red Cross fundraiser. I had five plus new skeins of navy to donate, so I turned this

into some of these

and added it to the bag. I’m glad to see the last of it. It was supposed to be a plain blanket for TH, but it bored me nearly to tears, so I chose to make the WoW blanket instead. I have no regrets.

This hank of yarn (Lorna’s Laces Devon) will eventually become….

…socks (Twist of Denim).

I seem to be the first person trying this pattern on Ravelry, so I hope they turn out.

Ps. Happy Birthday, Dad!

TH’s birthday is in April and TH likes fruit loops, so it only seemed fitting that I make Fruit Loop socks in April. Prism Saki yarn in the Plum Dandy colorway is gorgeous. The socks were not quite finished in April, but that doesn’t make me love them any less.
