Katherine the Great
I like to think of myself as a storyteller. Mostly I tell stories about knitting.

Last night, along with five other lovely ladies, I hosted a couples shower for my bff and her husband-to-be. It was really pretty and a lot of fun! The location was Downtown Uncorked in Bryan, TX. This wine bar is too charming for words and I look forward to visiting again next time I’m in Aggieland.
Alicia brought most of the decorations and I was truly impressed with all her talent. She brought a photo grouping of the happy couple after she took their engagement pics.

I made the puffballs that we hung from the ceiling after some tips from her.
Sadly, I took leave of my senses and didn’t get a pic of the really awesome banner with the couple’s name on it. You’ll have to take my word for how cool and pretty it was. These cute mini succulants out of fabric and a boutonniere out of panties for the man of the hour were also courtesy of Alicia.

and what’s a party without cupcakes?………Beth brought them. (check out the cool door table!!)

Overall, a very fun night and I enjoyed being a part of it! CONGRATS to the happy couple!!! :-)

ps. thanks to TH for driving me. it was a LATE night! :)

You are the BEST! It was so much fun, something Nic and I will never forget. Thank you for helping making this so special. A huge thanks to TH too, who I didn’t really think would make it. I can’t wait for the wedding, to celebrate with all of you some more! love you!

Cute! Love the little fabric succulants.

Never been a big fan of door tables. It disturbs me to think of where they might lead and what I might do if I ever heard a knock at one of them. …just me?
