Katherine the Great
I like to think of myself as a storyteller. Mostly I tell stories about knitting.

Sydney and I went for a walk with a sock (raveled here). Observe a Chrysanthemum sock in our cilantro!

and the sock in the elusive Texas Thistles!

I really like this pattern. It is not terribly complicated, but looks terribly complicated….my favorite. I’m already dreaming about another pair of Chrysanthemums (pattern by Hunter Hammersen).

Ps. If you’re a praying type of folk, I’d really appreciate you praying for Sydney. She’s not feeling well at all just now and we’d love to have her back to her old self. Thank you!!!

Sorry to hear about poor Syd!

Thank you! She’s so far so good today…it will take a couple of days before she is out of the woods.

This sock has such a great texture, it almost looks like it is knitted in a higher weight yarn because of the pattern. I’m sure that they will be a very warm (and pretty) pair! I hope that Sydney feels better very soon!

Thanks! I hope they are not TOO warm. :) Sydney is feeling a little better today than yesterday. I’m not very good at this wait and see business…(repeating “patience is a virtue” to self)
