Katherine the Great
I like to think of myself as a storyteller. Mostly I tell stories about knitting.

So, I was working on this little brown baby sweater and I took some really cool photos of the sweater in progress on my Bouganvilla. I like to think I have a green thumb, but I really don’t, so when my Bouganvilla was really looking great a few days agp, I snapped photos and was excited to share them with you in all their glory today. Also, the pics were perfect because this little item is a gift and I didn’t want to share too much on the blog before the owner got to see it and the flowers covered up good chunks.
Alas, I do not know WHAT happened to my amazing bouganvilla photos! They are gone with the wind. I think I’ll tell myself that the lighting was total shite, so no big loss. But, you my poor blog readers will have to settle for this picture
Bouganvilla
…and my sage advice that when you are sewing snaps onto a sweater, for the love of Bouganvilla, make sure they are facing the right direction so they’ll actually snap. just sayin’.

So jealous that you have colorful plants this time of year! Our leaves all turned a few weeks ago (which is stunning!) but it lasts such a short period of time! Now most of them have blown off and it is bare and brown!

well, we don’t get much of the fall leaves changing here, but it seems like a fair trade for the mild winters.

  2. You can tell me over and over how to do things properly but I’m destined to repeat the same mistakes over and over again. i JUST NEVER LEARN!

    Purty flooers!
