I like to think of myself as a storyteller. Mostly I tell stories about knitting.

1. I didn’t love this movie.

2. The chase scene was so poorly done I started to feel sick.

3. This movie felt like a 2 hour Mercedes commercial. Idea for a drinking game: Watch this movie and drink every time you see a Mercedes logo. (Please drink responsibly and always designate a driver.)

4. This is what I was knitting (K2P2 ribbing for the leg of a sock).
Self-striping sock

5. The Husband and I saw A Good Day to Die Hard at 2pm Saturday with some friends. Then we got together with them that night and watched Live Free or Die Hard because we were in the mood to watch a good Die Hard movie that day. True Story.

Oh that is disappointing. I like those movies. Beautiful sock so far!

    • Katie says:

Yes, it was disappointing, but maybe now that your expectations are low, you can enjoy it!

  2. Chris says:

Oh no. I wanted to see it. I guess will just do a marathon of the previous movies. Love the colors in the sock.

    • Katie says:

This one is worth a rental. Just don’t be surprised to find yourself shopping for a Mercedes.

  3. Carol says:

Love the color of those socks! That stripe of orange color really makes it pop.

  4. I’ve been on a run of terrible action movies …

Taken 2 (Ugh, especially for the poor wife who only gets to grunt and groan through the last 2/3rds of the movie)

The Bourne Legacy (He’s not Matt Damon, the chases aren’t so good and there’s almost nothing between the chases)

For a good movie, try the Seven Psychopaths. It was amazingly incredibly entertaining.

Good thing you got some sock knitting done so that it wasn’t too bad. Sometimes I absolutely love bad action movies, but some are just too bad. Like you I also really dislike in-your-face advertising.

  6. Karen says:

    Your socks is lovely!
I’m usually a fan of the Die Hard movies but haven’t seen that one yet. The first one is still my favorite though.

  7. Hannah says:

I liked the movie, but I am a sucker for anything Bruce WIllis. I knit during it, too :-) and your sock is looking lovely!

  8. Anya says:

Which was better, the two by two ribbing or the movie? ;)

  9. Alicia says:

At least you made good sock progress!
